Each of our therapists has set their rates individually and some offer a sliding scale for those in financial need. In general, for our Registered Clinical Counsellors you can expect to pay between $150- $170 +gst/ hour session. You can learn more by visiting our About Us page here.

Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in our therapists’ day that could have been filled by another client. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged for the full session.
-
Many extended health plans cover Registered Clinical Counsellors, however some do not. Please check directly with your provider to confirm that Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCC) are covered. All of our associates and students can be claimed under the designation of Registered Clinical Counsellor.

We do not offer direct billing to insurance providers, should you wish to claim your session fee with an extended health provider, you will receive a receipt upon payment with all the required information to do so. You are welcome to pay by credit card or e-transfer. We kindly request that e-transfers be done prior to, or during your session. Credit cards are saved to your profile on Jane (our booking and billing system) and will be charged after your session.

Most folks come in once per week or once every two weeks, others have a regular monthly appointment, and still others who may have fluctuating schedules choose to book online around their schedules. We recommend regular appointments and consistency, especially at first, however, we understand and respect that this may not be realistic for everyone.
How long depends on you and your intention for therapy. If you are looking for short term therapy you can expect approximately 6-12 sessions that focus on practical solutions. With longer term therapy (12 sessions +) you can expect to work at a deeper and more nuanced level to address longstanding patterns and work towards a more whole and fulfilling life.
Ultimately, it is up to you. You do not need to know now, you are always welcome to change the frequency of your sessions, should our schedules be able to accommodate, or discontinue therapy at any time.

We are thrilled to be able to offer in-person sessions. Please have a quick read of our communicable disease prevention plan in accordance with Phase 3 of British Columbia’s restart plan and current WorkSafeBC in-person counselling protocols.
Masks are no longer mandatory. We are happy to follow your lead on wearing a mask or not, whatever is most comfortable for you.
Hand sanitizer is available to use and recommended upon entry and exit of the office.
By entering the office, you are acknowledging that you are not showing signs of illness, flu-like symptoms including cough, fever, malaise, runny nose and that you have not been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days.
If anyone is showing symptoms of illness, or if you have been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, in-person sessions will be cancelled. You will be exempt from cancellation fees if this is the case.
Change can be uncomfortable, sometimes it’s even more painful to continue not being who you truly are.
